I’ve never had a persimmon! Sweet? Sour? Details lady… LOL
Mark describes them as being a cross between an apple and a melon. They remind me vaguely of cantaloupe, but more crisp. You can eat them skins on or off. The “hard” persimmons are for ready consumption but the soft kind are only good for cooking. I wanted to make some for baby food but Mark says I’ll have to buy more because he’s not sharing, lol.
I wish I could get my kids to eat anything other than cheese, peanutbutter and well…cheese and peanutbutter.
That is a slight exaggerastion…but only slight!!
